Personal Attention
In partnership with The Stutors, Admissions Academy offers premium, one-on-one tutoring in all academic subjects and standardized tests. With an emphasis on personal guidance, Stutors instructors help students improve their academic performance, test-taking strategies, and study skills.

SAT Reasoning Tutoring Program
Stutors SAT coaches make sure that every student learns critical test concepts and skills by working closely with their students and targeting specific problem areas. Stutors teach unique timing and guessing strategies customized to each student's abilities and SAT goals. Students can work with tutors in a one-on-one setting, or they can form a private SAT instruction group with one or two peers who have similar test goals. Students preparing for their first SAT typically enroll in a structured, fifteen to twenty session program designed to address individual weaknesses on the new SAT Reasoning Test. For students who have taken the SAT before or have other targeted needs, Stutors devise a tutoring plan that strategically addresses specific subject areas and test-taking concerns.

SAT Subject Tutoring Program
Tutoring is available in all SAT Subject Tests including English Literature, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, US/World History, and foreign languages. Instructors work with students by integrating test-taking strategies with subject comprehension.

ACT Tutoring Program
Many students and families are now looking to the ACT as an alternative to the SAT Reasoning in college admissions. Through customized private instruction, Stutors ACT instructors help students master content and test-taking strategies to reach their ACT goals.

Who are our tutors?
The Stutors' experienced and dedicated tutors are all Stanford students or recent Stanford graduates who are experts in the subjects they teach. Each tutor is selected through a rigorous screening process and is continually evaluated to ensure exceptional service to our students and families.

We believe that students learn best when they have a comfortable working relationship with their tutors. Therefore, Stutors work hard to ensure that every student is custom matched to his or her tutor, both in subject area and learning style.

How does it work?
Our goal is to create a flexible, personalized schedule to meet each family's needs. Stutors instructors are available every day after school and on the weekends, and students have the option to meet their tutors at Admissions Academy, at the local library, or at home. Our commitment to every student's improvement is evident in the quality and adaptability of our program.

Stutors instructors work to create an encouraging environment that fosters learning. Through weekly or twice-weekly sessions with a tutor, a student can significantly impact his or her performance, and most of our students begin to see improvement within three to four weeks. Our one-on-one tutoring program's success is evident in our students' overall academic and test score improvements.
